Wild Streak Gaming, the online gaming company headed by Alan Stern, former CEO of Sega Sammy, has renewed its exclusive partnership with Sega Sammy, parent company of SEGA Holdings, to continue the company’s expansion into the online gaming space. It is expected that Wild Streak Gaming will take control of the operation of the company’s flagship online casino, which it will take over from Sega Sammy, following the existing agreement’s completion. This is part of a wider strategy by the company to grow its presence in the online gaming space.
It’s the news every poker player wants to hear. Wild Streak Gaming (WSL) has renewed its sponsorship deal with Sega Sammy (the Tokyo-based parent company of the Yakuza series) for two years, at an undisclosed sum.
Sega Sammy has renewed its European online poker brand, Wild Streak Gaming, after an initial three year agreement expired. The new deal will now run until 2020. The all-new Wild Streak site features a redesign of the brand’s brand new logo, which will now feature its new colors.
Wild Streak Gaming, which was recently purchased by Bragg Gaming Group, has stated that its collaboration with Sega Sammy Creation Inc. will continue. The two companies have inked a contract extension to continue working together on two additional slot games. The latter will create land-based casino versions of the company’s popular games Dragon PowerTM and Egyptian MagicTM.
The now-defunct subsidiary of Bragg Gaming Group is a wholly-owned US gaming content company located in Nevada. The business offers a diverse selection of casino games in both land-based and online forms. Many foreign gaming markets, including the United States and the United Kingdom, get its material.
Two More Collaborative Projects
Sega Sammy Creation will now develop the company’s famous games Dragon PowerTM and Egyptian MagicTM for brick-and-mortar gaming facilities, according to the new deal. The two games have already been released in the online gaming sector and have gained a lot of traction. Since its debut in the state in May 2020, Dragon PowerTM has had a lot of success in New Jersey.
According to the Eilers-Fantini Online Game Performance report for 2021, Dragon PowerTM was rated as the third best slot game. Both companies previously collaborated on Wild Streak Gaming’s Congo CashTM and Fairy DustTM games as part of a game creation partnership. Both games will be on display at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas in October on the Sega Genesis CrestTM cabinet.
The last two slot games were developed in collaboration with Sega Sammy Creation, according to Doug Fallon, Managing Director of Group Content at Bragg Gaming Group and creator of the subsidiary business. He went on to say that the team is excited to continue working with the studio on the titles Dragon PowerTM and Egyptian MagicTM for land-based casino adoption.
The game studio’s current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Scott Winzeler, also had something to say about the latest acquisition. He said that their partners have a proven track record of producing high-quality gaming games that are well-received by gamers. He concluded his statement by expressing his delight at the continuation of the collaboration and his eagerness to deliver two more beautiful slots to land-based casinos.
Purchase has been completed.
In June of this year, iGaming aggregator and content supplier Bragg Gaming Group announced the purchase of Wild Streak Gaming for more than $30 million. The Nevada-based developer was paid $10 million in cash and $20 million in common shares of its new parent firm. Within the following three years, the shares will be dispersed.
Results for the second quarter
The worldwide content producer and aggregator published financial results for the second quarter of 2021, which ended on June 30, in July. The business recorded total sales of CA$17.7 million, a 23.5 percent increase over the same period last year. During Q2, the firm also filed for a Nasdaq Stock Exchange listing, which was granted later in Q3.
