The Quebec government has announced that Lotto 649 will go on sale just today. This is their first lottery game since November 2013, when they introduced a scratch-off lottery game called Turbo 649. The Quebec government has been offering Lotto 649 for a number of years, but it is not a lottery game that is promoted, in the sense that it is not advertised on TV, in newspapers, or on billboards.

The Quebec government doesn’t mess around when it comes to saving money, and the latest example of that is the new Family Lottery Vax, a promotion that gives you a chance to win $5,000 for your family. The promotion is for residents of Quebec who buy their lottery tickets from authorized retailers—you can find more information on the promotion and other ways to play the lottery on Loto-Quebec’s website.. Quebec is looking for a new way to encourage people to get vaccinated against an unprecedented situation, and the government may have just found that way. Health Minister Christian Dubet’s cabinet has announced that it is working with Finance Minister Eric Girard to create an incentive lottery program to get more people vaccinated.

Premier François Legault has said that vaccination rates among young people in Quebec are at an impasse. On Sunday, only 69% of 18- to 39-year-olds had been vaccinated against the contagious virus. Overall, 80% of the vaccinated population has received at least one dose of vaccine, and 19% are now fully vaccinated.

Stationary process

Premier Legault spoke about the vaccination process in the province on Monday when he received his second vaccination at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium. The Premier said the province could follow the example of other jurisdictions in the country and introduce a vaccine lottery to encourage people to get vaccinated.

The Prime Minister also stated that the initiative will be handed over to Quebec’s Minister of Health, Christian Dubet. On Monday, the Health Minister’s office officially confirmed that the department is working on such a bingo program, and details could be announced soon. A ministry spokesman said the aim of the campaign was to vaccinate as many people as possible with a second dose.

Prime Minister Lego urged more people to get a second vaccination as soon as possible. He also said the county is working to fix the Clic-Santé website and the problems that have prevented people from booking a second dose. The prime minister also reminded Quebecers that they can mix vaccines because there is a slight delay in the latest delivery by Pfizer.

Lift restrictions

Earlier, Quebec announced that the province would finally be easing some of its restrictions on blockchain. This allowed Loto-Québec to reopen its land-based gambling facilities in the province after they were closed last year due to health and safety concerns. The Crown Service Agency said it would gradually begin reopening casinos and gaming rooms.

Manitoba Bingo Promotion

Manitoba is one of several Canadian jurisdictions that have officially implemented a lottery-based outreach campaign to encourage more people to get vaccinated. Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister said the lottery program will include C$2 million in cash prizes as well as scholarships for the younger age group. He also said that those who are older than 12 and have lived until the age of 2. August received one dose of the vaccine for which awards are eligible.
