Pollard Banknote Limited, located in Manitoba, announced in early December that it had been granted a Mobile Convenience App Development Services Contract by the Minnesota Lottery. In other words, the Canadian lottery provider will be able to create a fully working lottery app for its partner that will be compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones.

Pollard Banknote is the primary lottery product provider to more than 60 lottery companies across the world, providing them with high-quality instant tickets, licensed games, Schafer Systems and Fastrak retail merchandising solutions, and more. Its services include a wide range of digital options, ranging from mkodo gaming applications to iLottery solutions.

App Launched

Pollard Banknote will be able to create a mobile app that will provide iLottery goods to the people of Minnesota as a result of this recent arrangement. The online platform is planned to include convenience features like ticket scanning and a GPS lottery store finder, as well as information about the Minnesota Lottery and its Responsible Gaming program.

Lottery fans will be able to use the new app to quickly seek up winning numbers from jackpot drawings. Create and preserve digital play slips that may subsequently be scanned at brick-and-mortar stores. They’ll be able to scan tickets to be entered into the lottery’s 2nd Opportunity Program, which gives players a second chance to win cash and other prizes.

Minnesota Lottery Executive Director Adam Prock said that the organization is excited to collaborate with the Canadian lottery supplier in order to develop a new iLottery app. According to him, the app would enable the organization to communicate directly with local players while also providing them with simpler and more accessible access to lottery items.

Pollard Banknote’s Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, Byron Peterson, also spoke about the partnership. He expressed his delight at the prospect of furthering the company’s long-standing relationship with the lottery by producing the new app. He also said that the lottery’s development of such an app would be critical in cementing its position and visibility in the online gambling sector.

Massive Repercussions in the United States

Pollard Banknote is a lottery product provider to over 60 lotteries throughout the globe, as previously stated. The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency, another of the business’s North American customers, gave the company a contract renewal in August. The new deal went into effect on July 8, 2021, and will last for four more years, with a three-year extension option.

The Manitoba lottery provider has a strong presence in the United States, since it collaborates with the Texas Lottery. The corporation recently congratulated its Texas partner on another successful fiscal year. During the preceding fiscal year, the Texas corporation broke yet another record, this time with total revenues of US$8.107 billion. The organization has improved on its prior performance for the 11th year in a row.
