For example, the company announced that its Gateway Casinos Sault Ste. Marie will be able to renew operations on January 31, 2022, and welcome back patrons after almost a month of inactivity.
Patrons who want to bet in person should be aware that they must follow specific health and safety guidelines. They must also wear protective face masks and provide verification of complete immunization status through a QR code. Visitors and staff will be divided by plexiglass barriers. Casinos will also be well cleaned and sanitized, since they will be operating at 50% of their full capacity.

Niagara Casinos has also announced the reopening of its Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara in the province. Both hotels will be able to restart operations and welcome back visitors at 50% capacity beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022. Patrons must additionally provide a QR code from an improved vaccine certificate as evidence of immunization.
Fallsview Casino Resort’s hotel will reopen for business at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022, according to the firm. The whole casino facility will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will have a hotel, gaming floor, slots, traditional and electronic table games, and some eating options.
