The French-Canadian lotto game Lotto MAX has been growing at a steady rate since it started in 2013. In fact, it has risen from a paltry $500,000 a year to an impressive CA$60 million today. This growth has been fuelled by a steady number of winning tickets, and a price increase of the most expensive line in 2015. The next question becomes: what exactly is happening in the game?

Back in July, Lotto MAX had CA$60 million on offer, which was the largest jackpot in the history of legal gambling in Canada. However, that record was subsequently beaten by Lotto 6/49 on July 15, 2017. And now, just two weeks after that record-breaking lotto draw, Lotto MAX is back, but this time with a far more enticing prize of CA$1.3 billion.

Today, the Lotto MAX jackpot is at $60 million with no winner. The biggest jackpot of the Lottery MAX series was in January 2015, when the prize was $50 million. The previous largest jackpot was in October 2014, when the prize was $40 million.. Read more about powerball jackpot amount and let us know what you think.
