High 5 Games is continuing its growth into the Canadian regulated gaming sector, after its recent partnership with Loto-Québec. The firm revealed last week that it has been granted permission by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to participate in the province’s new iGaming and sports betting market for private operators, which will launch this spring.
Ontario’s open market for private operators is expected to launch on April 4, 2022, after being postponed at first. Local gamblers will be able to access iGaming and sports betting products that have been approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Due to its size and the government legalization of single-event betting, the market has piqued the attention of gambling businesses.
Obtaining a License
High 5 Games was added to the AGCO’s list of authorized and licensed operators to enter the provincially regulated iGaming and sports betting industry last week. When the market opens on April 4, 2022, the gaming provider will be trying to increase its position in the province while also gaining new partnerships.
The developer is a well-known slot supplier with headquarters in the United States and a history dating back to 1995. Since then, the firm has established itself as an independent producer of casino games in the iGaming sector, and it now provides a first-rate collection of more than 500 titles to its numerous iGaming industry partners from all over the world.
Tony Singer, the gaming provider’s CEO, expressed his delight at the company’s decision to enter the market as a regulated supplier at a time when major things are happening in the province’s gambling industry. He said that Ontarian gamblers have been enjoying the provider’s material in land-based casinos for years, and that it would soon be accessible online.
The company is now active in a number of regulated North American markets, including New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Connecticut, and, most recently, Quebec. Last week, the business announced a partnership with Loto-Québec, marking yet another big step forward in its iGaming development across the continent. Local gamblers will now be able to access the provider’s material over the internet.
Eligible players will soon be able to play Triple and Quadruple Double da Vinci Diamonds, Secrets of the Forest Extreme, Caught in the Widow’s Web, and all of the provider’s future titles. Mr. Singer reacted on the arrangement, saying that the firm is glad to work with the Crown agency and that it is a valuable commercial partner.
Another firm is interested in obtaining a license.
Tiidal Gaming Group stated last week that it has submitted an application for an iGaming license in Ontario. The firm, which offers a premium eSports and gaming platform, has applied to be a regulated gaming-related provider with the AGCO. World Series of Poker, PointsBet, Rivalry, theScore, 888, Bragg Gaming Group, FansUnite, and High 5 Games have all been granted permission to operate in the market so far.
