BetRegal-Exploring-North-Bay-Opportunities

Mr. Mirtl, who worked in finance for many years before moving into the offshore gambling business 16 years ago, said the company’s offices are in Costa Rica, Malta, and Curacao. He said that the business employs about 200 employees in customer service, development, and marketing. His plan is to help North Bay’s local economy in every manner he can.

At this time, the CEO is unable to provide an estimate of how many employees the new office will be able to hire. His goal, according to him, is to establish a contact center in the region that will employ part-time employees, as well as individuals from Nipissing University and the Canadore Athletic Department. He said that a North Bay office would be the perfect location for him to call home.

Mr. Mirtl believes that the project may be completed as early as 2022. He is optimistic that the strategy can be implemented quickly, since the business hopes to obtain its provincial license before the end of the year. The CEO thinks that once they get a license, the business will be able to get off to a fast start in Ontario.

Bill C-218 was signed into law by the Canadian federal government in August, allowing provinces to provide sports betting on specific sporting events. Mr. Mirtl said that this gives his business a great chance to join the country’s booming gaming sector, but they must first get a license. The CEO is planning a trip to North Bay in the near future with the goal of forming casino relationships.
