We have just signed a contract with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG) to provide online poker software and services. We believe that this is a move in the right direction for the industry and ultimately the players. AGS will be taking over the current poker software and service offerings. This will include maintenance, security, technical support, and all legal matters associated with the poker industry.

The Ontario government has announced that it has completed its agreement with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation for “baccarat modernization” at select OLG gaming centres. The modernization included updating the baccarat table, as well as introducing new player-facing features, such as the ability to request a cash-out and view recent transactions on the table. The modernization was also completed in time to allow AGS to introduce its new baccarat player rewards program, which was launched in the summer of 2015.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission continues to expand its already rich portfolio of gaming products on its official OLG.ca platform. In a new partnership agreement, Crown Corporation has succeeded in acquiring the services of a well-known gambling brand, AGS. Residents of Ontario can now enjoy the provider’s hit series. word-image-3590 AGS is a leading international gaming equipment supplier, supplying all types of products to the gaming industry. The company offers class II and class III slot machines, as well as excellent table games, real money platforms and content. And soon, gaming fans in Ontario will be able to discover the company’s flagship games on the OLG.ca platform.

word-image-10520 Following the official signing of the partnership between Crow Agency and AGS, Golden Wins® was the first of the vendor’s hits to be released in Ontario. The provider will gradually release its impressive game titles on OLG.ca as new games are released in the coming months. Next on the release list are Bonanza Blast®, Capital Gains®, Fu Nan Fu Nu®, Rakin Bacon® and Vegas Stacks®, meaning local game fans have something to look forward to. Dave Pridmore, Director of Digital and Strategy at Crown Corporation, said Crown is always looking for new and innovative gaming experiences for its online users. Mr. Pridmore stated that the agreement with AGS would accomplish this goal as the vendor would provide better quality play and the revenue would stay in the county, benefiting the local economy in the future. Matt Rebeck, Executive Vice President of Manufacturing at the well-known supplier, also commented on the company’s new expansion into Canada. Rebeck said the company is excited to make its debut in the country and have Ontario Crown Corporation as a partner. The supplier has already launched the popular Golden Wins® game and will be adding more games in the coming months. Rebeck said the company and the state agency have had a good relationship in the past, as the OLG has helped the provider with its land-based casinos. He added that he looks forward to further strengthening the relationship with Crown Corporation and creating an even stronger partnership. Both parties will now work to improve their online offerings for Ontario.

Other partners

Previously, AGS had entered into another agreement to enter another Canadian jurisdiction. The company recently signed an agreement with Scientific Games to use the latter’s OpenGaming™ platform and offer its content to Loto-Québec’s online platform. Many of the vendor’s iGaming products will be making their debut in the Quebec online space, but Rakin’ Bacon! should be the first of many exciting games.
